AUTOMOTIVE GLASS |
Glass made up of two or more simple glasses, united by means of laminae of butiral of polyvinyl, that is a plastic material with very good qualities of adhesion, elasticity, transparency and resistance. The most excellent characteristic of the laminated glass, is its resistance to the penetration reason why it is specially indicated like protection of people and goods. In case of breakage the glass fragments are adhered to the butiral lamina, with which the accident risk is reduced. The presence of the butiral one improves the acoustic properties since the phenomenon of the resonance diminishes. Also the laminated glass is used as ultraviolet radiation protection then this radiation is absorbed by the butiral. |

TEMPERED FLATS |
The thermal tempering of the glass, is going to have a great importance in its mechanical resistance. Most of the tempered glass of security that makes of industrial form, is obtained by thermal weather. In this process the glass pieces, must have their definitive form before entering the weather furnace, since once warmed up any manufacture cannot be made on them. The process consists of warming up glasses until a low temperature something but to the one of its softening, and next to cool them abruptly, making affect its surface multitude of cold air jets . |
BACK WINDOW |
The back windows are glasses in which by the system of serigráfica impression, they are deposited in one of his expensive vitrificables enamels, and silver paste which acts like demister, later is put under the tempering process. In this operation the enamel is vitrified, forming mass with the glass and acquiring the same properties that the glass tempered normal, except its mechanical impact resistance, which is in favor conditional of the enameled surface, thickness of enamels, expansions, etc. |
